Bio

Kelsey is the Advisor and Support Coordinator for Loyola at Rayburn, where she provides academic advising, success coaching, and career counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design from the University of San Francisco and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans. Kelsey joined JSRI in 2018 as an office manager, and in this role she designed various research and advocacy reports, provided programmatic support, and handled the administrative aspects of JSRI. Throughout her years in New Orleans, she has spent time working at a transitional housing facility for people living with HIV/AIDS, organizing an annual solidarity bike ride to help keep families connected during incarceration, and she currently provides counseling at a sliding scale community mental health clinic. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys exploring the outdoors with her partner and two dogs, camping with friends, playing board games and learning more about plants and birds.
